My husbands going thru a battle with his ex over his daughter, shes a run away and pretty much a brat. The judge ordered that his ex wife not have her boyfriend spend any nights over there what so ever (the b/fs sister is who my step daughter ran away with) well he lives there and has been spending every night there since we all went to court but we cant prove it w/out hiring a P.I. and theyre soooo expensive. Does anyone know how we can prove it w/out paying high dollars? How to deal with an ex wife who takes the law into her own hands.?
Have someone send some mail certified and see if she is willing to accept it, better yet if he signs for it.... if he is getting mail at the address then he lives there. Also, see if the neighbors are willing to go to court and be sure to explain that this is not a thing you want to have to do but it is for the sake of the children. Everyone wants to help children.....
Good luck! How to deal with an ex wife who takes the law into her own hands.?
do your own p.i.
have your husband sit outside the house with a camcorder and record all movements it would be all day and night but u have proof in an unknown car
spend the night with a video recorder with time laps. that if u live near enough u just need to verify he was probably there all nite
call cps or you can go over thier and take a pic at night with out any one knowing
call cps or buy a camcorder
If this is a court order, all you would have to do is present it to the police and they will go over and investigate this. You could go as far as sitting a distance away and, when you see him, call the police. If there are others who know this to be true, they can write written, notarized statements that can be presented to the judge, who will take care of the problem...
grab your video camera, get a shot of his car there at 1 am, aand keep it running til he walks out in the morning.get it a couple of times, then go back to court, wait for them to deny it, and pop out the video, and maybe they will get hit with perjury on top of that
If you have that written in his Divorce papers, you can stake out her home and when the dude shows up, call the police station and report him being there. Show the paper work to the Officer.
Moreover, take a picture with a didital camera (with day and date) of the guy being there. If possible, get the kid in the picture with him.
Judges don't like people who are in contempt of their orders.
Good Luck!
Why can;t you go under cover yourself?Isn't there a way you can stake out outside the house?Or get a small portable camera in her house(without her knowing)? But check the laws in your town first...DO NOT BREAK THE LAW!!Also, the fact that you call your stepdaughter a brat...worries me.She went through her parents divorcing and new spouses for her parents.Do you think she might need extra attention and caring instead of calling her a brat and parents battling in court??You said it yourself.Look at it from anothers point of view.Good luck with your stepdaughter. She need you ALL now!!
